I wish Instagram would allow users to disable putting
unwanted duplicate photos on Android phones

Keep calm. Test is only a test. I am trying to figure out
how to stop my Instagram app from saving unwanted duplicate pictures on my S5
phone after I post a photograph.
I just researched how to stop Instagram from saving
duplicate pictures on my S5 phone
And, according to “Disabling
Instagram from Saving Pictures to a Phone,” by Diana V. Faustmann, Demand
Media – you cannot: http://classroom.synonym.com/disabling-instagram-saving-pictures-phone-17553.html
Ms. Faustmann writes, “The Instagram app works very
similarly on iPhones and Android phones. When it comes to saving the items you
shoot with the Instagram camera to the phone, though, there are a few
differences. Saving Instagram photos and videos is optional on iPhones and
compulsory on Android devices. Hence, you can prevent an iPhone, but not an
Android phone, from automatically saving Instagram photos.

… “As of January 2014, there’s no way to disable this
feature,” on an Android phone.
Candidly, it is almost a good reason to remove the app from
my phone. Just saying.
