- WELCOME New Partner: Joyce Schaum
Off Track Art is pleased to have Joyce Schaum join the cooperative. She is well known in the area for her fine basketry and was previously a guest artist at OTA. Visit OTA in the New Year and see her fabulous work.
- GALLERY ACTIVITIES
Shopping for Maryland-made gifts? The gallery offers works of art and crafts, jewelry and accessories made by Maryland artists. Choose from traditional art objects (such as floral paintings, landscapes, and figurative drawings) to more edgy creations from alternative materials. Also select from jewelry and crafty items like decorative journals and boxes, and look for discounted artwork in bins.
- SPOTLIGHT on OTA Artist: Charlotte Laslo
Charlotte is one of several jewelry artists at Off Track Art who help create the inviting and intimate space in which you can discover these small masterpieces.
“I make these pieces because working with wire and metal sheet is very satisfying to hand, eye, and mind. I use wire to contrast or blend the qualities of stones, metals, and fibers into a necklace, something to wear that adds interest, comfort, and thought to my day...”
