Happy Birthday Superman.
Happy Birthday Superman. Superman was born, Kal-El, on the
planet Krypton, on this day, Feb. 29. According to multiple sources including many
published editions in the 1960s, and in particular, Action Comics #655
published July 1990. This was the cover for an unpublished comic proposal by
Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster for "Superman,” in Jan. 1933 - which they unsuccessfully
submitted to Humor Publications.
