Last Monday, the Memorial Day observances at the Westminster Cemetery were once again led by master of ceremonies Kaye Kolb.

My childhood friend and Westminster High class of 1971 classmate, retired Army Sgt. Maj. Mel Hoffman, gave the keynote speech. We are all quite proud of our Westminster native son and his service to our country.

The benediction was delivered by Pastor Kevin C. Clementson, co-senior pastor, and his wife, Pastor Martha Clementson, of Grace Lutheran Church, Westminster. The national anthem was sung by Jennifer Gambino, with the Westminster Municipal Band...
