'Shades of Blue' Review: J. Lo Gets Low-Down Ken Tucker January 7, 2016

Ken Tucker writes for Yahoo - I watched the first episode of the new Jennifer Lopez cop drama Shades of Blue and thought, "This is kind of crazy — how are they going to make this a weekly show?"

And I immediately wanted to see a second episode. After I watched the second episode, I thought, "Wait — this is getting even more strange; how are they going to keep this thing going?

So I watched a third episode. (Thank you, NBC.) And then I have to admit, I watched a fourth. I wouldn't exactly call Shades of Blue addictive, but it certainly does keep you wondering. …

Last Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016 - I had breakfast on an airplane – flying Southwest Airlines.

I like flying Southwest; however flying sure is harder than it used to be. Southwest continues to be a bright spot in an otherwise bleak and barren customer service landscape.

Flying used to be part of the adventure. Today, flying is an endurance contest to be tolerated with gritted teeth. I wonder why it keeps getting worse instead of better?

Winaero: How to add “Recent items” to left pane of File Explorer in Windows 10”

Winaero: How to add “Recent items” to left pane of File Explorer in Windows 10”

I have been working on this problem for quite some time and once again did not find Microsoft’s help feature to be very helpful.

Frustrated, I once again did a search and found this article in “Winaero” that solved my problem relatively effortlessly. Thank you Thank you.

Find the article here: http://winaero.com/blog/how-to-add-recent-places-to-left-pane-of-file-explorer-in-windows-10/ Winaero explained the problem best, “Windows 10 does not come with the Recent places option in the navigation pane of File Explorer like Windows 8 or Windows 7. Instead, it has the "Recent files" group inside the Quick Access folder. This is not at all convenient for users who were used to accessing Recent places with one click from the navigation pane. Today we will see how to add Recent items to left pane of File Explorer in Windows 10.”

Now, if only Winaero could only find a solution to: “The action can’t be completed because the folder or a file in it is open in another program,” and put out an easily understandable solution to the unbelievable sharing and permissions nightmare.

PCmag.com - Google Android 6.0 Marshmallow

Dec. 22, 2015 - So my ph is updating - Marshmallow 6.0 – will this be like the nonsensically maddening Microsoft updates to my pc which are not improvements

PCmag.com - Google Android 6.0 Marshmallow

October 27, 2015 from PC Mag… Retrieved Dec. 22, 2015

The latest version of Google's Android operating system, 6.0 Marshmallow, feels like it was written to address some things that annoyed users, and some things that irked Google. For users, it's a sensible update that banishes many of the real groan points about Android, such as its flawed way of handling microSD memory and overactive apps that devour battery life. For Google, meanwhile, it offers ways to encourage more people to search the Web more often, which is the company's ultimate goal. It's a worthy update, for sure, if not quite the sea change that Android 5.0 Lollipop was. That said, one big problem still remains: A persistent fragmentation problem makes it likely that you will never see Marshmallow on your current device. For that reason, Apple's iOS 9 remains our Editors' Choice for mobile operating systems.
